Lovely converted cottage with beautiful grounds and a spacious, well-decorated interior. Enjoyed sitting on the outside chairs and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Great restaurant within walking distance.
The wet room in the bathroom was not ideal and the bed was a bit too firm for my liking. there was a small caravan site nearby that disrupted the peaceful atmosphere at times.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Appletree Cottage. The converted barn cottage was spacious, well-decorated, and had a beautiful big bathroom. The peaceful surroundings were perfect for relaxation, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the chairs, soaking in the tranquility. A highlight of our stay was the lovely walk through fields and woods to the nearby Fox & Goose Inn, where we had a delightful lunch. We would definitely return to this hidden gem.
Can recommend this hotel.

The value for money at Appletree Cottage was excellent, with a spacious and beautifully decorated room that had a perfect mix of modern appliances and rustic charm. The location was peaceful and surrounded by picturesque countryside, ideal for relaxing walks with our dog. The staff, particularly Jo, were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and giving us all the information we needed for our stay. it was a perfect place to explore both inland and coastal Suffolk.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with the option of purchasing a hamper containing essentials like bread, butter, and milk. Additionally, having extra amenities such as shampoos and conditioners would have been a nice touch for guests.
